The arrival of the decorations
Before we
begin the hard work of raising the maypole, we have to decorate it. The decorations are
carried to the maypole by the people who will decorate it. Music is a important part of
the celebrations. Swedish folk music and folk songs are played. Even the decorations are
escorted by music, as you can see in this picture.
